Hungarian Goulash from Treasured Hungarian Family Recipes (Helen M Radics)

Yes, I know, I have posted this video before, however I received so many e-mails from my fans and followers that I decided to re-post it today. Undoubtedly, Hungarian Goulash is the best known and loved Hungarian dish around the World. Many 2nd and 3rd generation Hungarians and other nationalities just adore the mouth-watering and fiery dish that spread like wildfire around the World and became Hungary’s ambassador to so many nations.

You may use pork, beef, lamb, goat and yes chicken. Chicken Goulash or Porkolt in Hungary is not to be mistaken with the Chicken Paprikash that the World knows, which is made with sour cream. In Hungary there is a dish called “Csirke Porkolt” which literary means Chicken Goulash in English and is not made with sour cream, but the traditional Hungarian way, which involves the same steps as Hungarian Goulash, but more about this in my upcoming Chicken Paprikash vs. Chicken Goulash (Porkolt). I will share it with you this weekend…

So, for now, please enjoy this easy and basic Hungarian Goulash recipe that I’m sure all your family will enjoy
